About Us

Scrum, Upgraded.

Because the tools have changed. Jeff Sutherland optimized human collaboration for thirty years. Now, he’s updated the code for the AI era. Learn to coordinate humans and AI in one seamless workflow.

Scrum, Upgraded.

ScrumAI.org exists to bridge the gap. We teach you how to integrate AI into your daily work—using Scrum as the proven structure to stay organized, focused, and effective in an accelerated world.

AI Changes Everything

AI dramatically alters the speed of work: how fast you learn, how quickly you respond, and how much value you create.

But AI alone is not enough. To succeed, you need to move from random usage to intentional consistency. That is where Scrum comes in.

Focus

Filter out the noise and prioritize what matters.

Rythm

A consistent cadence for planning and reviewing your work.

Habit

A framework that turns “trying AI” into “mastering AI.”
Start Mastering AI

"Learning how to combine AI with the Scrum mindset is one of the most valuable skills you can build."

Fighter Pilot. Cancer Researcher. Scrum Co-Creator.

Scrum wasn't born in a boardroom.

It began in the skies over Vietnam, where Jeff flew 100 missions as a fighter jet pilot. There, the OODA Loop taught him a fatal lesson: in high-stakes chaos, survival depends on acting faster than the environment changes.

It was refined at the University of Colorado. As a Principal Investigator and cancer researcher, Jeff realized that biological systems don’t follow Gantt charts—they adapt in real-time.

This fusion of speed and adaptation became the DNA of Scrum.

Today, the physics of survival remain the same. As an AI Pioneer, Jeff is applying these battle-tested principles to machine intelligence—helping you navigate the fastest workplace shift in history.

The Skills That Will Matter Most

AI has commoditized creation. Anyone can generate content or code in seconds. The bottleneck has shifted from making things to directing them.

Employers are asking: Who can learn fast, organize clearly, and collaborate with machines? To answer them, you must center on steering, not generating.

  • Center on steering, not generating. This requires a leader who knows how to integrate agents into the workflow–grooming backlogs for bots and verifying that the machine builds the right thing.
  • Most people can start the engine, but they can’t drive. They lack the framework to manage a hybrid workforce. You don’t. While others generate noise, you provide the structure that turns raw speed into value.

The Mission Has Evolved.

The principles haven’t changed. But the stakes have. Jeff built Scrum to help teams conquer complexity. Today, AI has made every job complex.
